Kangaroo and Bush Tomato Chutney Meatballs


Our Kangaroo Meatballs are a great alternative to traditional meat balls, Kangaroo meat is also much leaner than beef. Aunty Beryl and Chef Sebastien have elevated the recipe with the addition of Bush Tomato Chutney which adds a remarkable caramel & spicy flavour and Saltbush which brings a salty & earthy note to the dish. Product delivered frozen. 450g, serves 2.

Preparation, cooking and serving instructions

Frozen product. To defrost, put in the fridge for 24 hours. Once defrosted, reheat, and consume within 48 hours. 

To reheat, empty into a saucepan and place over a gentle heat, stirring occasionally until piping hot, alternatively you can empty into a microwave-safe container and heat for 4-5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until piping hot.

Best served with spaghetti or tagliatelle, and sprinkled with some grated parmesan and some fresh basil.

Sooooo tasty.

A unique new flavour

We really enjoyed these meatballs, which were especially delicious combined with the sour/sweet taste of the bush tomato chutney

Delicious delight

Like all other dishes from Delidoor this one did not disappoint with lovely tender meatballs and slightly sweet chutney sauce, it was nice to sample some great Australian ingredients and I will be re-ordering.
