Description

Introducing our Carnita Pulled Pork with Mexican Beans, a culinary masterpiece that brings the vibrant flavours of Mexico right to your dining table. We start with tender, seasoned pork, slow-cooked to perfection in the tradition of authentic 'carnitas' or *'little meats'*.

But we don't stop there. Our chefs then pair this succulent pulled pork with a hearty serving of Mexican beans, simmered in a medley of spices and fresh ingredients. With the smoky sweetness of red capsicum and the crunch of sweetcorn, every bite is a fiesta in your mouth.

We've even added a dash of refried beans for that extra texture and taste, and a sprinkle of red chillies for those who like it hot. And let's not forget the final flourish - a squeeze of fresh lemon juice and a sprinkling of fresh coriander, to tie all those rich flavours together.

Each meal is cooked from scratch and snap-frozen, capturing the freshness and quality of our ingredients at their peak. With Delidoor, you're not just getting a frozen meal - you're getting a delicious, restaurant-quality experience, lovingly prepared and ready to enjoy in minutes.

Why not pair this dish with a crisp salad or some warm tortillas for an easy, satisfying dinner? Or serve it as a crowd-pleasing centrepiece at your next family gathering? With Delidoor, the possibilities are as endless as they are delicious.

How to cook & serve

Frozen product. The dish must be defrosted before reheating.

To defrost, place in the fridge for 24 hours.

Once defrosted, reheat and consume within 2–3 days.

Saucepan:

From Frozen, carefully place the bags into some boiling water from the kettle to thaw the outside so the contents can release from the bag. Gently pour the bag contents into two separate saucepans, and heat slowly over low heat for approximately 15 mins or until it is warmed through and gently simmering.

From Thawed, gently pour the contents of the bags into two separate saucepans and warm slowly over medium heat until gently bubbling and warmed through.

Serving suggestion:

You can serve with rice or a Mexican soft tortilla. If you want to increase the sourness, give it a squeeze of lemon. Any leftovers would be perfect stuffed in a soft tortilla for lunch.

Frequently asked questions

Are the meals frozen?

Absolutely. We snap‑freeze within minutes of cooking so nutrients, texture and flavour stay locked in—no preservatives needed. This is the guarantee of delicious and nutritious meals.

How long will they last in my freezer?

Up to 5-6  months after delivery. Each label shows an Expiry Date; most families finish their favourites long before that!

Oven temperatures: Fan-forced vs. Conventional

All our oven reheating instructions are for fan‑forced ovens that’s the setting most Aussie households use.

  • Using a conventional (top‑and‑bottom) oven? Simply add 10 °C or allow an extra 5–10 minutes to reach the same result.

  • Unsure which oven you have? If your oven symbol shows a little fan, it’s fan‑forced. No fan means conventional.
Whichever mode you choose, always heat until the food is piping hot (above 75 °C) before serving.

How do I prepare the meals at home?

How do I prepare them?
Each product label describes the best method for the dish—choose oven, air‑fryer or saucepan for best results.

  • Oven / Air‑fryer (bakes, pies, lasagnes, quiches, pastries) – 30‑35 min at 180‑200 °C until piping hot and golden if reheated from thawed.

  • Saucepan (curries, stews, soups, sauces) – defrost pack, then warm gently 8‑10 min over medium heat, stirring occasionally.

  • Microwave only for single‑serve meals when you’re truly short on time; 6‑8 min on medium‑high from frozen or 2-3min from thawed. We don’t recommend it for most dishes because rapid heating can dry the food and dull its flavour.

How long will the meals last in the fridge?

We deliver everything frozen for maximum freshness, so keep meals in the freezer until the day before you want them. Once thawed in the fridge (below 5 °C), you can keep them up to 2 / 3 days maximum.

Never refreeze a meal that's been thawed and always check the Expiry Date on the label for dish-specific guidance.

Do you cater for special diets?
Yes. On the main menu page, you'll find filters for gluten-free, dairy-free, vegetarian, vegan, and low-calorie meals. Please be aware that due to our single kitchen environment, trace amounts of allergens may be present.
I have allergies - can I trust the labels?

Yes. Full ingredient and allergen lists are printed on pack and online. Email us if you need extra detail.

Is your meat halal?

All our chicken, beef and lamb are sourced from halal‑certified suppliers. Meals themselves are not certified, as our kitchen is not a halal certified.

What about sodium, sugar or macros?

Nutrition panels for every dish are on each product page and dish label. We stick to home‑style seasoning—no hidden MSG, no artificial sweeteners, no preservatives or other nasties.

Why frozen over "fresh chilled"

Freezing offers a preservative-free method of conservation and, when performed correctly, is also a gentle process for the product, so you can enjoy conveniently delicious, nutritious and preservatives free meals.
