Our Confit Duck Legs are prepared in-house, by Chef Sebastien, the traditional way. They are cooked long and slow in duck fat flavoured with aromatic herbs until meltingly tender, ready for you to roast. This traditional preservation process gives the meat the most fabulous texture and flavour.

Our confit comes with Kipfler potatoes.

Preparation, cooking and serving instructions

Frozen product. To defrost, put in the fridge for 24 hours. Once defrosted, heat, and consume within 48 hours.  

Heat up your oven to 160C, transfer the duck legs, skin side up, and the potatoes into an oven-proof tray. Reheat for 10-15 min. For a crispy skin, you can use your oven grill for a few minutes at the end, oven door slightly open.

Duck like I can't cook

Met the brief 100%. Delectable Duck, lots of spuds. Just took a little longer to cook (20 mins but might be my oven) to be hot with crispy spuds

Confit and kipflers

Brilliant!
Roasted in oven to crisp up the kipflers, at the same time the confit was warmed through and were given a crispness to enjoy. Sprinkle of sea salt, with a glass of Pinot noir, heaven. What more can I ask for. As good as confit et frites in the bar in Caunes Minervois!
