This is Bush Tucker comfort cuisine at its best. Chicken and Lemon Myrtle, the "Queen of the Lemon Herb", are the perfect combination to explore the exceptional flavour of this plant. Lemon myrtle has the highest citrus purity in the whole vegetable reign. It has been used with parsimony by Aunty Beryl and Chef Sebastien to give this chicken dish an incredible depth of flavour. 420g, serves 2 with a side.

Preparation, cooking and serving instructions

Raw frozen product. To defrost, put in the fridge for 24 hours. Once defrosted, cook, and consume within 48 hours.

Please note: this product contains raw chicken and should be fully cooked before consumption. 

To cook it, preheat your oven at 180 deg and bake for 20-25 minutes.

Outstanding

With the flavour of lemon myrtle delicately ensconcing the chicken, this was a dish with a true heart, from the heart of Australia. The aroma from my kitchen awakened my taste buds well before I served the meal on a bed of rice.

Disappointing

I had such high hopes for this. Unfortunately, it was overly oily, with a minimal amount of lemon myrtle, pepperberries, and Warrigal greens. I’m familiar with, and love, these ingredients, but any flavour was swamped by the olive oil.
