Quiche is a French tart consisting of pastry crust filled with savoury custard and pieces of cheese, meat, seafood or vegetables. The best-known variant is Quiche Lorraine, which includes lardons or bacon. This is a timeless classic. Product delivered frozen. Serves 3-4 with a side.
Preparation, cooking and serving instructions:
Frozen product. To defrost, put in the fridge for 24 hours. Once defrosted, reheat, and consume within 2-3 days.
Please note these cooking instructions are merely a guide as different ovens may vary the cooking times. Feel free to cook a little longer if you feel necessary.
From frozen: Preheat the oven to 150°C. Place your quiche in the preheated oven for 10-15 minutes. Then turn the oven to 180°C and bake for a further 20-25 minutes until top golden and bubbling.
From thawed: Preheat the oven to 180°C. Place your quiche in the preheated oven and bake for 20-25 minutes.
If you like the base a bit crunchy, transfer your quiche on baking paper before to put in the oven.
Serve with a side of green salad.
