Beef bourguignon or boeuf bourguignon, also called beef Burgundy, and bœuf à la Bourguignonne, is a beef stew braised in red wine, and beef stock, flavoured with carrots, onions, garlic, and a bouquet garni, and garnished with pearl onions, mushrooms, and bacon. Product delivered frozen.
Preparation, cooking and serving instructions
Frozen product. Once defrosted, cook, and consume within 48 hours.
From frozen, carefully place the bag into some boiling water from the kettle to thaw the outside so the stew can release from the bag. Gently pour into a saucepan, and cook slowly over low heat for approximately 15 mins or until it is warmed through and gently simmering.
From thawed, gently pour the contents into a saucepan and warm slowly over medium heat until gently bubbling and warmed through.
