Description

Arrabiata Sauce is not just another tomato sauce, it's a fiery delight that dances on your palate. We start with ripe, juicy tomatoes, simmering them with a tantalising mix of onions, olive oil, and a dash of sugar to coax out their natural sweetness. Then, we add the star of the show - red chillies. These fiery little beauties give our sauce its signature kick. A sprinkle of salt and garlic adds depth, while fresh basil and mixed herbs bring a hint of the Mediterranean to your kitchen. A final flourish of oregano and pepper lends an aromatic finish, with a touch of chili powder to seal the deal. This sauce is cooked from scratch in small batches and snap-frozen for your convenience. Pair it with your favourite pasta or use it as a base for your next pizza night - the possibilities are as endless as they are delicious. Bon appétit!

How to cook & serve

Frozen product. The dish must be defrosted before reheating.

To defrost, place in the fridge for 24 hours.

Once defrosted, reheat and consume within 2–3 days.

Saucepan:

From Thawed: Reheat slowly in a saucepan for 4-5 minutes or until bubbling.

Tip 1: If you didn't have time to defrost in the fridge, carefully place the bag into some hot water from the kettle for a few minutes.

Tip 2: If you serve the sauce with pasta, the best result is obtained by tossing the pasta in the reheated sauce for a couple of minutes before serving.

Serving suggestion:

Serve with Penne pasta or any of your favourite pasta, sprinkle with freshly grated Parmesan.

Frequently asked questions

Are the meals frozen?

Absolutely. We snap‑freeze within minutes of cooking so nutrients, texture and flavour stay locked in—no preservatives needed. This is the guarantee of delicious and nutritious meals.

How long will they last in my freezer?

Up to 5-6  months after delivery. Each label shows an Expiry Date; most families finish their favourites long before that!

Oven temperatures: Fan-forced vs. Conventional

All our oven reheating instructions are for fan‑forced ovens that’s the setting most Aussie households use.

  • Using a conventional (top‑and‑bottom) oven? Simply add 10 °C or allow an extra 5–10 minutes to reach the same result.

  • Unsure which oven you have? If your oven symbol shows a little fan, it’s fan‑forced. No fan means conventional.
Whichever mode you choose, always heat until the food is piping hot (above 75 °C) before serving.

How do I prepare the meals at home?

How do I prepare them?
Each product label describes the best method for the dish—choose oven, air‑fryer or saucepan for best results.

  • Oven / Air‑fryer (bakes, pies, lasagnes, quiches, pastries) – 30‑35 min at 180‑200 °C until piping hot and golden if reheated from thawed.

  • Saucepan (curries, stews, soups, sauces) – defrost pack, then warm gently 8‑10 min over medium heat, stirring occasionally.

  • Microwave only for single‑serve meals when you’re truly short on time; 6‑8 min on medium‑high from frozen or 2-3min from thawed. We don’t recommend it for most dishes because rapid heating can dry the food and dull its flavour.

How long will the meals last in the fridge?

We deliver everything frozen for maximum freshness, so keep meals in the freezer until the day before you want them. Once thawed in the fridge (below 5 °C), you can keep them up to 2 / 3 days maximum.

Never refreeze a meal that's been thawed and always check the Expiry Date on the label for dish-specific guidance.

Do you cater for special diets?
Yes. On the main menu page, you'll find filters for gluten-free, dairy-free, vegetarian, vegan, and low-calorie meals. Please be aware that due to our single kitchen environment, trace amounts of allergens may be present.
I have allergies - can I trust the labels?

Yes. Full ingredient and allergen lists are printed on pack and online. Email us if you need extra detail.

Is your meat halal?

All our chicken, beef and lamb are sourced from halal‑certified suppliers. Meals themselves are not certified, as our kitchen is not a halal certified.

What about sodium, sugar or macros?

Nutrition panels for every dish are on each product page and dish label. We stick to home‑style seasoning—no hidden MSG, no artificial sweeteners, no preservatives or other nasties.

Why frozen over "fresh chilled"

Freezing offers a preservative-free method of conservation and, when performed correctly, is also a gentle process for the product, so you can enjoy conveniently delicious, nutritious and preservatives free meals.
