For our Empanadas we teamed up with the guys at the Empanada House.

Alex and his team are true to their Argentinian Heritage and follow the traditional recipe of the Argentinian Empanadas, ground meat, secret spices, chillis, Sultanas  

Product delivered frozen. 4 empanadas per bag

Preparation, cooking and serving instructions

Raw frozen product. Bake from Thawed. Thaw in the fridge for a few hours.

Brush with egg wash.

Put the empanadas onto a lined baking tray and place it on middle shelf of oven and bake for 15-20 mins at 180°C until golden.

Take your Empanadas out of the oven and let them cool for 10 minutes before digging in.

The filling will be piping hot, so exercise a little patience for that perfect bite!

Tasty

Quite a tasty take on an empanada. Quite spicy however, which i don't mind. Nice to munch on a Saturday night in front of the TV.

Excellent!

Strange! I reviewed these some time ago but it hasn't shown up . . . oh well, have another go.
These were wonderful empanadas. Great pastry and very tasty chicken and mushroom filling. Unfortunately one had split open in transit, but none of the filling was lost and it didn't effect cooking (or eating - yum).

These empanadas were fantastic! A good amount of chicken and mushroom in a lovely spicy sauce, all encased in a nice, crispy pastry. Unfortunately one had split in transport, bit that in no way affected the quality. Will be ordering again.

Authentic and delicious!

I first tried empanadas at West End Markets in Brisbane years ago and it was love at first bite! These were home made by a family from Argentina. I have tried these in South America since and the Delidoor product is so authentic it takes you there. Love them.
