Description

Indulge in the vibrant flavours of Goan Chicken Vindaloo with Coconut Milk, a culinary masterpiece that marries the exotic spices of Goa with the creaminess of coconut milk. This isn't your run-of-the-mill takeaway dish; we've taken the time to carefully craft this meal from scratch, using a symphony of spices and chilies, tender chicken thighs, and a hint of wine vinegar for that extra zing.

Each bite of this home-style comfort food reveals the authenticity of its origins, while also showcasing our French 'savoir-faire'. We've balanced the heat of chili powder and cumin with the smoothness of coconut milk, creating a dish that dances between fiery and soothing.

The secret to our Goan Chicken Vindaloo's rich, robust flavour lies in the careful selection of high-quality ingredients and our commitment to small-batch cooking. We don't take shortcuts; our meals are always preservative-free, because we believe in serving you nothing but the best.

Once cooked to perfection, this meal is snap-frozen to seal in the freshness and flavours. Just heat it up when you're ready to dine, and pair it with a side of fluffy basmati rice or warm naan bread for a complete meal. With Delidoor, you can savour the convenience of a freshly frozen meal without compromising on quality or taste. Bon appétit!

Stunning

This curry was superb, and i am fussy. We had three meals, so a very generous serving, with rice and the wonderful garlic naan. Rich, deep flavours. This is a must have on our order!

Frequently asked questions

Are the meals frozen?

Absolutely. We snap‑freeze within minutes of cooking so nutrients, texture and flavour stay locked in—no preservatives needed. This is the guarantee of delicious and nutritious meals.

How long will they last in my freezer?

Up to 5-6  months after delivery. Each label shows an Expiry Date; most families finish their favourites long before that!

Oven temperatures: Fan-forced vs. Conventional

All our oven reheating instructions are for fan‑forced ovens that’s the setting most Aussie households use.

  • Using a conventional (top‑and‑bottom) oven? Simply add 10 °C or allow an extra 5–10 minutes to reach the same result.

  • Unsure which oven you have? If your oven symbol shows a little fan, it’s fan‑forced. No fan means conventional.
Whichever mode you choose, always heat until the food is piping hot (above 75 °C) before serving.

How do I prepare the meals at home?

How do I prepare them?
Each product label describes the best method for the dish—choose oven, air‑fryer or saucepan for best results.

  • Oven / Air‑fryer (bakes, pies, lasagnes, quiches, pastries) – 30‑35 min at 180‑200 °C until piping hot and golden if reheated from thawed.

  • Saucepan (curries, stews, soups, sauces) – defrost pack, then warm gently 8‑10 min over medium heat, stirring occasionally.

  • Microwave only for single‑serve meals when you’re truly short on time; 6‑8 min on medium‑high from frozen or 2-3min from thawed. We don’t recommend it for most dishes because rapid heating can dry the food and dull its flavour.

How long will the meals last in the fridge?

We deliver everything frozen for maximum freshness, so keep meals in the freezer until the day before you want them. Once thawed in the fridge (below 5 °C), you can keep them up to 2 / 3 days maximum.

Never refreeze a meal that's been thawed and always check the Expiry Date on the label for dish-specific guidance.

Do you cater for special diets?
Yes. On the main menu page, you'll find filters for gluten-free, dairy-free, vegetarian, vegan, and low-calorie meals. Please be aware that due to our single kitchen environment, trace amounts of allergens may be present.
I have allergies - can I trust the labels?

Yes. Full ingredient and allergen lists are printed on pack and online. Email us if you need extra detail.

Is your meat halal?

All our chicken, beef and lamb are sourced from halal‑certified suppliers. Meals themselves are not certified, as our kitchen is not a halal certified.

What about sodium, sugar or macros?

Nutrition panels for every dish are on each product page and dish label. We stick to home‑style seasoning—no hidden MSG, no artificial sweeteners, no preservatives or other nasties.

Why frozen over "fresh chilled"

Freezing offers a preservative-free method of conservation and, when performed correctly, is also a gentle process for the product, so you can enjoy conveniently delicious, nutritious and preservatives free meals.
