Description

Introducing our Quiche Lorraine Family Size, a delightful twist on a beloved classic. A testament to our dedication to quality and care, each quiche is handcrafted from scratch in small batches. Our culinary artisans begin with a crisp shortcrust pastry, filled with a savoury custard that's been lovingly prepared using fresh milk and eggs.

But it's the filling that makes this dish truly special. Each quiche is generously packed with diced bacon, offering a smoky depth to the custard's creamy backdrop. A sprinkling of Parmesan lends a nutty sharpness, while onions provide a sweet undertone. And of course, the crowning glory - a layer of cheese that melts into a golden blanket under the oven's gentle heat.

Our Quiche Lorraine is not just a meal, but a celebration of artisanal cooking and high-quality ingredients. It's the perfect solution for those busy evenings when you crave home-style comfort, but time is not on your side. Simply heat from frozen, and voila! A gourmet dinner is served.

For an extra touch of 'savoir-faire', pair our Quiche Lorraine with a simple side salad or some steamed vegetables. Remember, at Delidoor, we're not just delivering meals; we're delivering stress-free, scrumptious dining experiences right to your doorstep.

How to cook & serve

Frozen product. The dish must be defrosted before reheating.

To defrost, place in the fridge for 24 hours.

Once defrosted, reheat and consume within 2–3 days.

Oven:

From Frozen: Preheat the oven to 150°C. Place your quiche in the preheated oven for 10-15 minutes. Then turn the oven to 180°C and bake for a further 20-25 minutes until top golden and bubbling.

From Thawed: Preheat the oven to 180°C. Place your quiche in the preheated oven and bake for 20-25 minutes.

If you like the base a bit crunchy, transfer your quiche on baking paper before to put in the oven.

Please note these cooking instructions are merely a guide as different ovens may vary the cooking times. Feel free to cook a little longer if you feel necessary.

Delicious quiche

Quiche is delicious and filling for 3 adults with a salad. The pastry tastes home made. This is nothing like the supermarket ones with their preservatives

Excellent meal, the quiche isn’t huge so order the family size for two people

Freezer Saviour

I buy many of the other meals from Delidoor that require defrosting, but this can be heated up from thawed or frozen. This means it is such a fast and easy meal for those days you forgot to take something out or don’t have a lot of time. This quiche was tasty, served with a side salad and it was fantastic. Would definitely order again, just to have in the freezer.

Frequently asked questions

Are the meals frozen?

Absolutely. We snap‑freeze within minutes of cooking so nutrients, texture and flavour stay locked in—no preservatives needed. This is the guarantee of delicious and nutritious meals.

How long will they last in my freezer?

Up to 5-6  months after delivery. Each label shows an Expiry Date; most families finish their favourites long before that!

Oven temperatures: Fan-forced vs. Conventional

All our oven reheating instructions are for fan‑forced ovens that’s the setting most Aussie households use.

  • Using a conventional (top‑and‑bottom) oven? Simply add 10 °C or allow an extra 5–10 minutes to reach the same result.

  • Unsure which oven you have? If your oven symbol shows a little fan, it’s fan‑forced. No fan means conventional.
Whichever mode you choose, always heat until the food is piping hot (above 75 °C) before serving.

How do I prepare the meals at home?

How do I prepare them?
Each product label describes the best method for the dish—choose oven, air‑fryer or saucepan for best results.

  • Oven / Air‑fryer (bakes, pies, lasagnes, quiches, pastries) – 30‑35 min at 180‑200 °C until piping hot and golden if reheated from thawed.

  • Saucepan (curries, stews, soups, sauces) – defrost pack, then warm gently 8‑10 min over medium heat, stirring occasionally.

  • Microwave only for single‑serve meals when you’re truly short on time; 6‑8 min on medium‑high from frozen or 2-3min from thawed. We don’t recommend it for most dishes because rapid heating can dry the food and dull its flavour.

How long will the meals last in the fridge?

We deliver everything frozen for maximum freshness, so keep meals in the freezer until the day before you want them. Once thawed in the fridge (below 5 °C), you can keep them up to 2 / 3 days maximum.

Never refreeze a meal that's been thawed and always check the Expiry Date on the label for dish-specific guidance.

Do you cater for special diets?
Yes. On the main menu page, you'll find filters for gluten-free, dairy-free, vegetarian, vegan, and low-calorie meals. Please be aware that due to our single kitchen environment, trace amounts of allergens may be present.
I have allergies - can I trust the labels?

Yes. Full ingredient and allergen lists are printed on pack and online. Email us if you need extra detail.

Is your meat halal?

All our chicken, beef and lamb are sourced from halal‑certified suppliers. Meals themselves are not certified, as our kitchen is not a halal certified.

What about sodium, sugar or macros?

Nutrition panels for every dish are on each product page and dish label. We stick to home‑style seasoning—no hidden MSG, no artificial sweeteners, no preservatives or other nasties.

Why frozen over "fresh chilled"

Freezing offers a preservative-free method of conservation and, when performed correctly, is also a gentle process for the product, so you can enjoy conveniently delicious, nutritious and preservatives free meals.
