Garlic and Rosemary Roasted Lamb Shank


Nothing tastes better than a Roasted Lamb Shank, infused with rosemary and garlic in a rich red wine & tomato gravy. The set contains two Lamb Shanks. Each Lamb shank weighs a minimum of 250g. Perfect to serve with Pappardelle, Kipfler Potatoes, Roasted Vegetables, Potato Puree or a Gratin Dauphinois.

Preparation, cooking and serving instructions

Frozen product. To defrost, put in the fridge for 24 hours. Once defrosted, reheat, and consume within 48 hours. 

Place the lamb in an oven-proof dish and cover with foil.  Place in 170C oven and bake for approximately 20 minutes until the lamb is warmed through.

You can also reheat in a pot for 15-20 minutes with a lid on. Make sure to stir occasionally so it doesn't stick to the bottom of the pot. 

Perfect served with Pappardelle, Kipfler Potatoes, Roasted Vegetables or Potato Puree.

Served for a luncheon with friends. Baked in the oven and it was amazing. Used two packs (4 shanks) and the shanks were huge and the amount of sauce you get is enough for another meal. Thoroughly recommend this meal I served it with the Gratin Dauphinois (French style potato gratin) and some bread for soaking up the sauce. Yum Yum.

I am only a very new client of DeliDoor and this was my third dish from my first order. Man o man this was scrumptious. Haven’t had Lamb Shanks for years and years. I licked my plate clean however was not allowed to gnaw on the bones. We don’t have a dog so I couldn’t see a problem but “ she who must be obeyed said no”. Anyhow thank you guys will definitely be ordering this dish again.

Really nice dish, I simply defrosted, put it into the oven in a lidded casserole dish, waited, took the lid off for the last 15 to reduce the sauce a bit and then served it with mashed potatoes and greens. Flavoursome comfort food, the meat fell off the bone tender.
