Description

Introducing the Tarte Provencale, a family-sized feast that's a delightful blend of two beloved dishes. Imagine the heartiness of a quiche and the vibrant flavours of a ratatouille combined in a single, sensational tart. It's as if they've had a culinary love child, and the result is absolutely delicious.

This Tarte Provencale is a testament to our commitment to scratch-made quality and the convenience of freshly frozen meals. We start with a base of shortcrust pastry, then layer it with the finest ingredients - ripe tomatoes, zucchini, eggplant, red capsicum, and red onions. A scattering of sundried tomatoes adds a touch of concentrated sweetness, while fresh basil and a hint of garlic give it that signature French 'savoir-faire'. Each bite is a celebration of high-quality, responsibly sourced ingredients, prepared with care and expertise.

This dish is perfect for those busy weeknight dinners or lazy weekend lunches. It Meals for 3-4 with ease, and pairs beautifully with a crisp green salad or some roasted baby potatoes on the side. So why not let Delidoor bring a little French flair to your table with our Tarte Provencale? Bon appétit!

How to cook & serve

Frozen product. The dish must be defrosted before reheating.

To defrost, place in the fridge for 24 hours.

Once defrosted, reheat and consume within 2–3 days.

Oven:

From Frozen: Preheat the oven to 150°C. Place your quiche in the preheated oven for 10-15 minutes. Then turn the oven to 180°C and bake for a further 20-25 minutes until top golden and bubbling.

From Thawed: Preheat the oven to 180°C. Place your quiche in the preheated oven and bake for 20-25 minutes.

If you like the base a bit crunchy, transfer your quiche on baking paper before to put in the oven.

Please note these cooking instructions are merely a guide as different ovens may vary the cooking times. Feel free to cook a little longer if you feel necessary.

Frequently asked questions

Are the meals frozen?

Absolutely. We snap‑freeze within minutes of cooking so nutrients, texture and flavour stay locked in—no preservatives needed. This is the guarantee of delicious and nutritious meals.

How long will they last in my freezer?

Up to 5-6  months after delivery. Each label shows an Expiry Date; most families finish their favourites long before that!

Oven temperatures: Fan-forced vs. Conventional

All our oven reheating instructions are for fan‑forced ovens that’s the setting most Aussie households use.

  • Using a conventional (top‑and‑bottom) oven? Simply add 10 °C or allow an extra 5–10 minutes to reach the same result.

  • Unsure which oven you have? If your oven symbol shows a little fan, it’s fan‑forced. No fan means conventional.
Whichever mode you choose, always heat until the food is piping hot (above 75 °C) before serving.

How do I prepare the meals at home?

How do I prepare them?
Each product label describes the best method for the dish—choose oven, air‑fryer or saucepan for best results.

  • Oven / Air‑fryer (bakes, pies, lasagnes, quiches, pastries) – 30‑35 min at 180‑200 °C until piping hot and golden if reheated from thawed.

  • Saucepan (curries, stews, soups, sauces) – defrost pack, then warm gently 8‑10 min over medium heat, stirring occasionally.

  • Microwave only for single‑serve meals when you’re truly short on time; 6‑8 min on medium‑high from frozen or 2-3min from thawed. We don’t recommend it for most dishes because rapid heating can dry the food and dull its flavour.

How long will the meals last in the fridge?

We deliver everything frozen for maximum freshness, so keep meals in the freezer until the day before you want them. Once thawed in the fridge (below 5 °C), you can keep them up to 2 / 3 days maximum.

Never refreeze a meal that's been thawed and always check the Expiry Date on the label for dish-specific guidance.

Do you cater for special diets?
Yes. On the main menu page, you'll find filters for gluten-free, dairy-free, vegetarian, vegan, and low-calorie meals. Please be aware that due to our single kitchen environment, trace amounts of allergens may be present.
I have allergies - can I trust the labels?

Yes. Full ingredient and allergen lists are printed on pack and online. Email us if you need extra detail.

Is your meat halal?

All our chicken, beef and lamb are sourced from halal‑certified suppliers. Meals themselves are not certified, as our kitchen is not a halal certified.

What about sodium, sugar or macros?

Nutrition panels for every dish are on each product page and dish label. We stick to home‑style seasoning—no hidden MSG, no artificial sweeteners, no preservatives or other nasties.

Why frozen over "fresh chilled"

Freezing offers a preservative-free method of conservation and, when performed correctly, is also a gentle process for the product, so you can enjoy conveniently delicious, nutritious and preservatives free meals.
