Description

Tartiflette - a name that sings the melody of comfort food with a dash of French charm. This hearty potato casserole is a culinary delight, hailing from the mountainous region of Savoy in the Alps. It's a dish that embodies home-style comfort, yet is crafted with the finesse of a chef's touch.

At Delidoor, we've recreated this traditional recipe with a bit of Australian love. Our Tartiflette is graced with a Reblochon-style cheese, lovingly made by our friend Matthieu Megard at "l'Artisan Cheese" in Victoria. Matthieu, a third-generation cheese maker, adds that extra layer of authenticity and quality to our dish.

Our Tartiflette is a symphony of creamy potatoes, rich cheese, and succulent ham, all harmoniously layered and baked to perfection. A hint of garlic and a blend of mixed herbs provide a savory depth, while the addition of white wine lends a subtle, sophisticated note.

This meal is cooked from scratch in small batches, ensuring each bite is as delightful as the last. We then snap-freeze it to lock in all the flavours and freshness, so you can enjoy this comforting dish whenever you need a little culinary indulgence.

For the perfect dining experience, we suggest pairing our Tartiflette with a crisp leafy green salad dressed with an acidic vinaigrette. This bright and tangy side will beautifully balance out the rich creaminess of the Tartiflette. And to complete your meal? A glass of dry white wine would be the perfect accompaniment.

With Delidoor, eating well without stress is not just a dream - it's your new reality. So why wait? Bring home the joy of quality, scratch-cooked meals today.

Rich and Tasty

For some other Delidoor meals, I've complained that they weren't cheesy enough. That is definitely not the case here. This was full of rich, cheesy, tasty goodness.

Loved this!

Really tasty potato pie, with great cheese flavours and excellent texture. Some cheese dishes separate into oily messes - not this one, which kept its creaminess. Great comfort food!

A Great Dish

It would be improved by some more Cheese, and the ability to heat up in the Microwave and also the Air Fryer.

Frequently asked questions

Are the meals frozen?

Absolutely. We snap‑freeze within minutes of cooking so nutrients, texture and flavour stay locked in—no preservatives needed. This is the guarantee of delicious and nutritious meals.

How long will they last in my freezer?

Up to 5-6  months after delivery. Each label shows an Expiry Date; most families finish their favourites long before that!

Oven temperatures: Fan-forced vs. Conventional

All our oven reheating instructions are for fan‑forced ovens that’s the setting most Aussie households use.

  • Using a conventional (top‑and‑bottom) oven? Simply add 10 °C or allow an extra 5–10 minutes to reach the same result.

  • Unsure which oven you have? If your oven symbol shows a little fan, it’s fan‑forced. No fan means conventional.
Whichever mode you choose, always heat until the food is piping hot (above 75 °C) before serving.

How do I prepare the meals at home?

How do I prepare them?
Each product label describes the best method for the dish—choose oven, air‑fryer or saucepan for best results.

  • Oven / Air‑fryer (bakes, pies, lasagnes, quiches, pastries) – 30‑35 min at 180‑200 °C until piping hot and golden if reheated from thawed.

  • Saucepan (curries, stews, soups, sauces) – defrost pack, then warm gently 8‑10 min over medium heat, stirring occasionally.

  • Microwave only for single‑serve meals when you’re truly short on time; 6‑8 min on medium‑high from frozen or 2-3min from thawed. We don’t recommend it for most dishes because rapid heating can dry the food and dull its flavour.

How long will the meals last in the fridge?

We deliver everything frozen for maximum freshness, so keep meals in the freezer until the day before you want them. Once thawed in the fridge (below 5 °C), you can keep them up to 2 / 3 days maximum.

Never refreeze a meal that's been thawed and always check the Expiry Date on the label for dish-specific guidance.

Do you cater for special diets?
Yes. On the main menu page, you'll find filters for gluten-free, dairy-free, vegetarian, vegan, and low-calorie meals. Please be aware that due to our single kitchen environment, trace amounts of allergens may be present.
I have allergies - can I trust the labels?

Yes. Full ingredient and allergen lists are printed on pack and online. Email us if you need extra detail.

Is your meat halal?

All our chicken, beef and lamb are sourced from halal‑certified suppliers. Meals themselves are not certified, as our kitchen is not a halal certified.

What about sodium, sugar or macros?

Nutrition panels for every dish are on each product page and dish label. We stick to home‑style seasoning—no hidden MSG, no artificial sweeteners, no preservatives or other nasties.

Why frozen over "fresh chilled"

Freezing offers a preservative-free method of conservation and, when performed correctly, is also a gentle process for the product, so you can enjoy conveniently delicious, nutritious and preservatives free meals.
