We prepared our chicken Tikka Masala with family and kids in mind, this dish is for us a great way to accustom slowly the kids to the flavour of world food without the heat. Our tikka Masala showcases the flavours of traditional North India food without the heat normally associated to it. For the parents that wish to spice us the dish, we did add a little cup of mango chilly pickles that you can use at discretion.
Preparation, cooking and serving instructions
Frozen product. To defrost, put in the fridge for 24 hours. Once defrosted, reheat, and consume within 48 hours.
To reheat, empty into a saucepan and place over a gentle heat, stirring occasionally until piping hot, alternatively you can empty into a microwave-safe container and heat for 2-4 minutes, stirring occasionally, until piping hot.
Sprinkle with some fresh coriander before serving.
Serve with basmati rice.
