Traditional Galette des Rois - Serves 8

$37.00

The traditional French galette, known as a "galette des rois," is a delicious treat that is especially popular during the month of January. It is made of two circles of puff pastry that are filled with a frangipani filling. The galette is baked to perfection, resulting in a flaky and buttery pastry that is simply irresistible.

This pastry is traditionally served on Epiphany, a Christian holiday that celebrates the visit of the Three Kings to the infant Jesus. However, it is enjoyed by people of all ages and backgrounds throughout the month of January.

If you're looking to indulge in a bit of French culture, or simply want to enjoy a delicious pastry, consider trying one of Delidoor's galettes des Rois. It will serve 8 people. You won't be disappointed!

Please note that our Galette des Rois does not include the traditional Feve trinket or the paper crown. This is for safety reason.

Stunning Galette des Rois

This was amazing i was able to slice it into portions and put it back in freezer when it arrived. It looked incredible this picture tells the story of being transported to a decadent time when such fare was more available. The pastry is light anf flakey. The filling is creamy and in total it's the perfect accompaniment with a special event meal or great coffee. Enjoy

Delicious

Very rich. Very crumbly pastry. Definitely an occasional treat. I can understand why the French enjoy this only once a year.
