Spanakopita or Greek Spinach Pie is your ultimate vegetarian Greek dish. Quite versatile it can be eaten at any time of the day as a starter or a main. Inside you will find some fresh crumbled Greek Feta mixed with spinach and layered in filo pastry brushed with olive oil. It is then backed it until golden and crispy. Product delivered frozen. 550g, serves 2.
Preparation, cooking and serving instructions
Frozen product. The dish has to be defrosted before reheating. To defrost, place in the fridge for 24 hours. Once defrosted, reheat, and consume within 2-3 days.
Please note these cooking instructions are merely a guide as different ovens may vary the cooking times. Feel free to heat a little longer if necessary.
From thawed, preheat the oven to 160°C, place the pie in your preheated oven and bake for 15-20 minutes.
Great served with a side of Greek salad.
