Indulge in the homely delight of our Lamb Shepherd's Pie - a culinary masterpiece crafted with the expertise of real chefs. This isn't just any shepherd's pie; it's a symphony of flavours, where every ingredient plays its part to perfection.

Imagine sinking your fork into a creamy layer of mashed potato, lovingly prepared with a hint of rich butter and topped with a golden crust of cheddar and parmesan cheese. Beneath this cloud-like topping, awaits a heart-warming filling of succulent lamb, slowly simmered with ripe tomatoes, tender carrots, and aromatic mixed herbs. A splash of red wine adds depth to the flavour profile, making each bite an exploration of taste.

Our Lamb Shepherd's Pie is an ode to comfort food, prepared from scratch with meticulous care. It's a meal that brings warmth to your table and saves you time in your busy day. We've preserved the freshness and quality of this classic dish through snap-freezing - just heat, eat, and enjoy the convenience of fine dining at home.

For an extra touch of indulgence, why not pair this pie with a side of crisp green beans or a vibrant mixed salad? After all, every good shepherd deserves a well-tended garden. Bon appétit!

How to cook & serve

Frozen product. The dish can be baked from frozen or from thawed.

To defrost, place in the fridge for 24 hours.

Once defrosted, reheat and consume within 2–3 days.

Oven:

From Frozen: Preheat the oven to 150°C, place the pie in your preheated oven and bake for 30 minutes, then turn the oven to 180°C and bake for a further 15 minutes until the top is golden brown and the sauce is starting to bubble over.

From Thawed: Preheat the oven to 180°C, place the pie in your preheated oven and bake for 30-35 minutes until the top is golden brown.

Please note these cooking instructions are merely a guide as different ovens may vary the cooking times. Feel free to reheat a little bit longer if necessary.

Frequently asked questions

Are the meals frozen?

Absolutely. We snap‑freeze within minutes of cooking so nutrients, texture and flavour stay locked in—no preservatives needed. This is the guarantee of delicious and nutritious meals.

How long will they last in my freezer?

Up to 5-6  months after delivery. Each label shows an Expiry Date; most families finish their favourites long before that!

Oven temperatures: Fan-forced vs. Conventional

All our oven reheating instructions are for fan‑forced ovens that’s the setting most Aussie households use.

  • Using a conventional (top‑and‑bottom) oven? Simply add 10 °C or allow an extra 5–10 minutes to reach the same result.

  • Unsure which oven you have? If your oven symbol shows a little fan, it’s fan‑forced. No fan means conventional.
Whichever mode you choose, always heat until the food is piping hot (above 75 °C) before serving.

How do I prepare the meals at home?

How do I prepare them?
Each product label describes the best method for the dish—choose oven, air‑fryer or saucepan for best results.

  • Oven / Air‑fryer (bakes, pies, lasagnes, quiches, pastries) – 30‑35 min at 180‑200 °C until piping hot and golden if reheated from thawed.

  • Saucepan (curries, stews, soups, sauces) – defrost pack, then warm gently 8‑10 min over medium heat, stirring occasionally.

  • Microwave only for single‑serve meals when you’re truly short on time; 6‑8 min on medium‑high from frozen or 2-3min from thawed. We don’t recommend it for most dishes because rapid heating can dry the food and dull its flavour.

How long will the meals last in the fridge?

We deliver everything frozen for maximum freshness, so keep meals in the freezer until the day before you want them. Once thawed in the fridge (below 5 °C), you can keep them up to 2 / 3 days maximum.

Never refreeze a meal that's been thawed and always check the Expiry Date on the label for dish-specific guidance.

Do you cater for special diets?
Yes. On the main menu page, you'll find filters for gluten-free, dairy-free, vegetarian, vegan, and low-calorie meals. Please be aware that due to our single kitchen environment, trace amounts of allergens may be present.
I have allergies - can I trust the labels?

Yes. Full ingredient and allergen lists are printed on pack and online. Email us if you need extra detail.

Is your meat halal?

All our chicken, beef and lamb are sourced from halal‑certified suppliers. Meals themselves are not certified, as our kitchen is not a halal certified.

What about sodium, sugar or macros?

Nutrition panels for every dish are on each product page and dish label. We stick to home‑style seasoning—no hidden MSG, no artificial sweeteners, no preservatives or other nasties.

Why frozen over "fresh chilled"

Freezing offers a preservative-free method of conservation and, when performed correctly, is also a gentle process for the product, so you can enjoy conveniently delicious, nutritious and preservatives free meals.
