Description

Experience a culinary journey to the heart of Indonesia with our Balinese Marinated Chicken. This dish is a symphony of flavours, carefully curated and cooked from scratch by our passionate chefs. The star of this meal is the tender chicken breast, marinated in a rich blend of aromatic spices and herbs.

Our chefs take their time to meticulously marinate the chicken in a concoction of coconut cream, fresh coriander, and a hint of sambal for that delightful kick. But the magic doesn't stop there. The ensemble of turmeric, red chilli, garlic, shallot, ginger, lemongrass, and kaffir lime leaves infuse the chicken with an exotic richness that is truly Balinese.

The result? A meal that captures the essence of traditional Indonesian cuisine, prepared with the convenience of modern living in mind. And because we believe in preserving the integrity of our meals, this dish is snap-frozen immediately after cooking to seal in all those delicious flavours and nutrients.

So why not take the night off from cooking and treat yourself to a meal that's not just good, but 'Delidoor' good? All you need to do is heat, eat and enjoy. Perhaps pair this delightful dish with a side of jasmine rice or a crisp cucumber salad for a complete, stress-free dining experience. Bon appétit!

This dish was delicious, when paired with rice. Chicken was tender and well flavored with the right amount, not too salty.

Frequently asked questions

Are the meals frozen?

Absolutely. We snap‑freeze within minutes of cooking so nutrients, texture and flavour stay locked in—no preservatives needed. This is the guarantee of delicious and nutritious meals.

How long will they last in my freezer?

Up to 5-6  months after delivery. Each label shows an Expiry Date; most families finish their favourites long before that!

Oven temperatures: Fan-forced vs. Conventional

All our oven reheating instructions are for fan‑forced ovens that’s the setting most Aussie households use.

  • Using a conventional (top‑and‑bottom) oven? Simply add 10 °C or allow an extra 5–10 minutes to reach the same result.

  • Unsure which oven you have? If your oven symbol shows a little fan, it’s fan‑forced. No fan means conventional.
Whichever mode you choose, always heat until the food is piping hot (above 75 °C) before serving.

How do I prepare the meals at home?

How do I prepare them?
Each product label describes the best method for the dish—choose oven, air‑fryer or saucepan for best results.

  • Oven / Air‑fryer (bakes, pies, lasagnes, quiches, pastries) – 30‑35 min at 180‑200 °C until piping hot and golden if reheated from thawed.

  • Saucepan (curries, stews, soups, sauces) – defrost pack, then warm gently 8‑10 min over medium heat, stirring occasionally.

  • Microwave only for single‑serve meals when you’re truly short on time; 6‑8 min on medium‑high from frozen or 2-3min from thawed. We don’t recommend it for most dishes because rapid heating can dry the food and dull its flavour.

How long will the meals last in the fridge?

We deliver everything frozen for maximum freshness, so keep meals in the freezer until the day before you want them. Once thawed in the fridge (below 5 °C), you can keep them up to 2 / 3 days maximum.

Never refreeze a meal that's been thawed and always check the Expiry Date on the label for dish-specific guidance.

Do you cater for special diets?
Yes. On the main menu page, you'll find filters for gluten-free, dairy-free, vegetarian, vegan, and low-calorie meals. Please be aware that due to our single kitchen environment, trace amounts of allergens may be present.
I have allergies - can I trust the labels?

Yes. Full ingredient and allergen lists are printed on pack and online. Email us if you need extra detail.

Is your meat halal?

All our chicken, beef and lamb are sourced from halal‑certified suppliers. Meals themselves are not certified, as our kitchen is not a halal certified.

What about sodium, sugar or macros?

Nutrition panels for every dish are on each product page and dish label. We stick to home‑style seasoning—no hidden MSG, no artificial sweeteners, no preservatives or other nasties.

Why frozen over "fresh chilled"

Freezing offers a preservative-free method of conservation and, when performed correctly, is also a gentle process for the product, so you can enjoy conveniently delicious, nutritious and preservatives free meals.
