Preparation, cooking and serving instructions

Frozen product. Once defrosted, cook, and consume within 48 hours.

Please note these cooking instructions are merely a guide as different ovens may vary the cooking times. Feel free to cook a little longer if you feel necessary. Our cooking durations may be a little less than needed as we want to avoid any dishes being overcooked or burnt.

From frozen, preheat the oven to 150C, place the casserole in your preheated oven and bake for 30 minutes, then turn the oven to 180C and bake for a further 15 minutes until the sauce is starting to bubble over.

From thawed, preheat the oven to 180°C, place the casserole in your pre heated oven and bake for 30-35 minutes until the sauce is starting to bubble over.

If you want to test that the inside has warmed through, insert a temperature probe into the middle and check it has reached 75C. If the middle is not warm enough, place it back in the oven for another 5 minutes or until bubbling over. Once you are happy that it is cooked, remove from the oven.

Perfect served with a side of green steamed vegetables, rice or couscous.

What a treat this dish was. One of my most favourites so far! Moist tender chicken, beautifully balanced flavours of dijon and leek. As it heated on the oven, I also baked some baby spuds in butter and some zucchini alongside. Perfect meal.

Ruth K

The chicken was tender and the sauce was delicious. Just right for two people.

Chicken; Leek & Dijon Casserole

This is the second time we’ve had this dish & it was just as good as the first - very hearty comfort food meal. We had it with steamed rice & vegetables. The portions for two was very adequate

excellent as usual
