Preparation, cooking and serving instructions

Frozen product. Once defrosted, cook, and consume within 48 hours.

Please note these cooking instructions are merely a guide as different ovens may vary the cooking times. Feel free to cook a little longer if you feel necessary. Our cooking durations may be a little less than needed as we want to avoid any dishes being overcooked or burnt.

From frozen, preheat the oven to 150C, place the casserole in your preheated oven and bake for 30 minutes, then turn the oven to 180C and bake for a further 15 minutes until the sauce is starting to bubble over.

From thawed, preheat the oven to 180°C, place the casserole in your pre heated oven and bake for 30-35 minutes until the sauce is starting to bubble over.

If you want to test that the inside has warmed through, insert a temperature probe into the middle and check it has reached 75C. If the middle is not warm enough, place it back in the oven for another 5 minutes or until bubbling over. Once you are happy that it is cooked, remove from the oven.

Perfect served with a side of green steamed vegetables, rice or couscous.

This dish is always in our freezer - luv it!

this was our first experience with Delidoor - we have tried a few other dishes since but this is my favourite so far. I dont eat a lot of chicken but loved this! We ordered the roasted potatoes with it which were a great match. Also steamed some beans as a side.

Chicken and leek casserole

Delicious. Creamy and hearty, great with rice on a cold winter’s night. Will definitely order again.

Delicious sauce

Cooking in an earthenware dish in the oven allows the sauce to bubble gently and the top to brown nicely. Chop the chicken breasts into pieces before heating.

Very tasty - authentic French cooking!
