Cooked Pappardelle

Pappardelle are large, very broad, flat pasta, similar to wide fettuccine, originating from the region of Tuscany, perfect with tomato sauce or pork ragu. 400g, serves 2.

Preparation, cooking and serving instructions

For the dry one : Place in boiling water for 13-14 minutes until al dente.

For the frozen product. To defrost, put in the fridge for 24 hours. Once defrosted, reheat and consume within 48 hours.  To reheat, place in the microwave for 2 minutes, stirring after one minute.

I felt a bit lazy ordering cooked pasta, but it was so good I’m going to be lazy & order it every time I put an order in! Really generous portion, easily enough for 3 people.

Have reviewed before but asked to do again, heaps in this dish, enough for our 2 chihuahuas as well. Have eaten with lots of different toppings and always enjoyed. I find it better to warm in a saucepan with some warm water and then drain. Had it with chicken and lemon meatballs last time, Yum

Needs longer than 2 mins

Lovely with the Ragu, but still a hard mass after defrosting and heating 2 minutes in the micro wave. Ended up in with the Ragu whilst heating on the stove and was fine.
