Description

Say bonjour to Pad Kee Mao with Chicken, a culinary creation that brings a touch of French savoir-faire to a classic Thai dish. This is not your run-of-the-mill stir fry, but a vibrant ensemble of flavours, lovingly crafted from scratch.

Our skilled chefs start with thick, hearty rice noodles, and add succulent chicken mince for a protein-packed punch. A medley of Chinese broccoli and Chinese cabbage provides a fresh, crisp counterpoint to the meaty main act.

The true star of the show, however, is our signature sauce. This aromatic blend features oyster sauce, red chilli, and shallots for a sweet-spicy kick that'll have your taste buds dancing. We fold in a homemade chilli paste, made with soybean oil, sugar, water, shallot, garlic, tamarind, dried red chilli, shrimp paste, dried shrimp, salt, and fish sauce. The result is a robust, multi-layered flavour profile that's as complex as it is delicious.

To finish, we toss in fragrant fresh basil and coriander, then drizzle with low sodium soy sauce for that final umami flourish. The dish is then snap-frozen to seal in the freshness and flavour until the moment you're ready to savour it.

Pair this delightful dish with a crisp salad or a side of steamed jasmine rice for a satisfying meal that's easy on effort but big on taste. With Delidoor's Pad Kee Mao with Chicken, every bite is a testament to the power of quality ingredients and culinary craftsmanship. Bon appétit!

How to cook & serve

From Frozen: Peel a corner of the film, about 1 to 2 cm. Microwave for 6-7 minutes or until piping hot. Let it rest for 30 seconds before peeling the film completely off.

From Thawed: Peel a corner of the film, about 1 to 2 cm. Microwave for 3-4 minutes or until piping hot. Let it rest for 30 seconds before peeling the film completely off.

Heating time based on a 1000W microwave. Microwave ovens vary, adjust timing accordingly. After reheating the content, the tray itself will be very hot. Once opened, use immediately. DO NOT REHEAT.

Pad kee-mao

I've tried many meals from Delidoor and we all have our prefeerences. For me they range from pretty good to really great. But this particular dish with rice noodles is one I would happily eat 3 or 4 times a week. It is packed with flavour and spices as well as a variety of textures. I love it.

Pad Kee Mao

The dish was extremely tasty and full of flavour. My only criticism was the noodles totally breaking apart, maybe they need to be undercooked to solve the problem!

Frequently asked questions

Are the meals frozen?

Absolutely. We snap‑freeze within minutes of cooking so nutrients, texture and flavour stay locked in—no preservatives needed. This is the guarantee of delicious and nutritious meals.

How long will they last in my freezer?

Up to 5-6  months after delivery. Each label shows an Expiry Date; most families finish their favourites long before that!

Oven temperatures: Fan-forced vs. Conventional

All our oven reheating instructions are for fan‑forced ovens that’s the setting most Aussie households use.

  • Using a conventional (top‑and‑bottom) oven? Simply add 10 °C or allow an extra 5–10 minutes to reach the same result.

  • Unsure which oven you have? If your oven symbol shows a little fan, it’s fan‑forced. No fan means conventional.
Whichever mode you choose, always heat until the food is piping hot (above 75 °C) before serving.

How do I prepare the meals at home?

How do I prepare them?
Each product label describes the best method for the dish—choose oven, air‑fryer or saucepan for best results.

  • Oven / Air‑fryer (bakes, pies, lasagnes, quiches, pastries) – 30‑35 min at 180‑200 °C until piping hot and golden if reheated from thawed.

  • Saucepan (curries, stews, soups, sauces) – defrost pack, then warm gently 8‑10 min over medium heat, stirring occasionally.

  • Microwave only for single‑serve meals when you’re truly short on time; 6‑8 min on medium‑high from frozen or 2-3min from thawed. We don’t recommend it for most dishes because rapid heating can dry the food and dull its flavour.

How long will the meals last in the fridge?

We deliver everything frozen for maximum freshness, so keep meals in the freezer until the day before you want them. Once thawed in the fridge (below 5 °C), you can keep them up to 2 / 3 days maximum.

Never refreeze a meal that's been thawed and always check the Expiry Date on the label for dish-specific guidance.

Do you cater for special diets?
Yes. On the main menu page, you'll find filters for gluten-free, dairy-free, vegetarian, vegan, and low-calorie meals. Please be aware that due to our single kitchen environment, trace amounts of allergens may be present.
I have allergies - can I trust the labels?

Yes. Full ingredient and allergen lists are printed on pack and online. Email us if you need extra detail.

Is your meat halal?

All our chicken, beef and lamb are sourced from halal‑certified suppliers. Meals themselves are not certified, as our kitchen is not a halal certified.

What about sodium, sugar or macros?

Nutrition panels for every dish are on each product page and dish label. We stick to home‑style seasoning—no hidden MSG, no artificial sweeteners, no preservatives or other nasties.

Why frozen over "fresh chilled"

Freezing offers a preservative-free method of conservation and, when performed correctly, is also a gentle process for the product, so you can enjoy conveniently delicious, nutritious and preservatives free meals.
