Description

Indulge in the delight of our Spanakopita, a classic Greek dish that's been given the Delidoor treatment. Bursting with authentic flavours, this vegetarian delight can be savoured any time of the day, be it as a sumptuous starter or a hearty main.

Crafted with the utmost care and expertise, our Spanakopita is a testament to our commitment to scratch-made quality. We've layered crispy filo pastry, brushed with olive oil, and filled it to the brim with a vibrant mix of fresh spinach and crumbled Greek Feta. The result? A golden, flaky parcel that's as pleasing to the eye as it is to the palate.

But the magic doesn't stop there. We've added a touch of culinary savoir-faire with a sprinkle of fresh herbs like dill, parsley, oregano, and basil, plus a squeeze of lemon juice for that extra zing. Each bite is a delightful medley of flavours that will transport you straight to the sun-drenched terraces of Greece.

And the best part? This gourmet delight comes freshly frozen, making it a convenient choice for those busy evenings when you crave something truly special. Pair it with a simple Greek salad or some roasted vegetables for a complete meal that's both comforting and nourishing.

At Delidoor, we bring you the joy of eating well without the stress. So sit back, relax, and let our Spanakopita do the talking. Bon appétit!

Great lunch

This made a great lunch over a couple of days. Very filling, tasty and I really liked the pastry. I'll order these for summer lunches often.

Favourite so far

Defrosted in fridge for about 3 days before heating. Considering it is a frozen product, the pastry and filling came up very well. Heated in van oven for about 40 minutes at 140degC. Cover the top with a lid so it doesn't burn.
Filling consists of healthy ingredients - good to see Olive Oil rather than the nasty Canola Oil so prevalent everywhere including 'health' foods, because it is cheap. I'll happily pay more for healthy quality ingredients. This meal for two is good value, sizeable portions. Added a little sea salt as I prefer a bit more zing, but good that the product comes with little salt so users can adjust themselves.

Frequently asked questions

Are the meals frozen?

Absolutely. We snap‑freeze within minutes of cooking so nutrients, texture and flavour stay locked in—no preservatives needed. This is the guarantee of delicious and nutritious meals.

How long will they last in my freezer?

Up to 5-6  months after delivery. Each label shows an Expiry Date; most families finish their favourites long before that!

Oven temperatures: Fan-forced vs. Conventional

All our oven reheating instructions are for fan‑forced ovens that’s the setting most Aussie households use.

  • Using a conventional (top‑and‑bottom) oven? Simply add 10 °C or allow an extra 5–10 minutes to reach the same result.

  • Unsure which oven you have? If your oven symbol shows a little fan, it’s fan‑forced. No fan means conventional.
Whichever mode you choose, always heat until the food is piping hot (above 75 °C) before serving.

How do I prepare the meals at home?

How do I prepare them?
Each product label describes the best method for the dish—choose oven, air‑fryer or saucepan for best results.

  • Oven / Air‑fryer (bakes, pies, lasagnes, quiches, pastries) – 30‑35 min at 180‑200 °C until piping hot and golden if reheated from thawed.

  • Saucepan (curries, stews, soups, sauces) – defrost pack, then warm gently 8‑10 min over medium heat, stirring occasionally.

  • Microwave only for single‑serve meals when you’re truly short on time; 6‑8 min on medium‑high from frozen or 2-3min from thawed. We don’t recommend it for most dishes because rapid heating can dry the food and dull its flavour.

How long will the meals last in the fridge?

We deliver everything frozen for maximum freshness, so keep meals in the freezer until the day before you want them. Once thawed in the fridge (below 5 °C), you can keep them up to 2 / 3 days maximum.

Never refreeze a meal that's been thawed and always check the Expiry Date on the label for dish-specific guidance.

Do you cater for special diets?
Yes. On the main menu page, you'll find filters for gluten-free, dairy-free, vegetarian, vegan, and low-calorie meals. Please be aware that due to our single kitchen environment, trace amounts of allergens may be present.
I have allergies - can I trust the labels?

Yes. Full ingredient and allergen lists are printed on pack and online. Email us if you need extra detail.

Is your meat halal?

All our chicken, beef and lamb are sourced from halal‑certified suppliers. Meals themselves are not certified, as our kitchen is not a halal certified.

What about sodium, sugar or macros?

Nutrition panels for every dish are on each product page and dish label. We stick to home‑style seasoning—no hidden MSG, no artificial sweeteners, no preservatives or other nasties.

Why frozen over "fresh chilled"

Freezing offers a preservative-free method of conservation and, when performed correctly, is also a gentle process for the product, so you can enjoy conveniently delicious, nutritious and preservatives free meals.
