Creamy Carbonara Sauce

Traditionally Carbonara is cured pork, eggs, cheese and pepper only. Over the years a creamy version also appeared. It may not be the purest tradition but it is dammed delicious. This is the one we decided to put on the menu. Cream, bacon and cheese, what could possibly go wrong ?
Serve with Tagliatelle (not included). 500g, serves 4.
Preparation, cooking and serving instructions
Frozen product. Defrost before reheating. To defrost place the bag in the fridge for at least 24 hours. Once defrosted, heat, and consume within 2-3 days.
Reheat slowly in a saucepan for 4-5 min or until bubbling. It can also be reheated in the microwave for 2 min.
Serve with Spaghetti or any of your favourite pasta, sprinkle with freshly grated Parmesan.
Tip 1: If you didn't have time to defrost in the fridge, carefully place the bag into some hot water from the kettle for a few minutes.
Tip 2: If you serve the sauce with pasta, the best result is obtained by tossing the pasta in the reheated sauce for a couple of minutes before serving.
