NDIS meals delivered to your door
Délidoor is a registered NDIS meal provider. Our chefs cook 190+ meals from scratch in small batches, snap-freeze them at peak freshness and deliver them across NSW, ACT, VIC, QLD, SA, WA and TAS. If your plan is managed by a plan manager or the NDIA, you pay 30% at checkout for the ingredients, and we invoice the other 70% (preparation and delivery) directly. If you self-manage, you pay upfront and claim 70% back with our itemised invoice. No contracts, no lock-in: just good food in your freezer, ready when you are.
Chef prepared meals that make everyday life easier, with plenty of choice to suit your needs.
Délidoor believes everyone should have the opportunity to enjoy quality and tasty meals.
Délidoor helps participants access nutritious, tasty meals that are easy to keep on hand at home, helping support independence in day to day living.
Délidoor can provide a quote, and itemised invoices that separate food from preparation and delivery support. We aim to make onboarding straightforward and reduce back and forth for everyone involved.

Does the NDIS pay for meals?
The NDIS doesn’t pay for the food itself, because groceries are an everyday living cost. What it can fund is the preparation and delivery of your meals, when that’s reasonable and necessary for you and your plan has Core Supports funding (support item 01_023_0120_1_1).
With Délidoor, that means a simple 70/30 split. 70% of each order covers preparation and delivery and is claimable from your plan. You pay the 30% that covers ingredients. On average, that’s about $4.50 per meal out of your own pocket.
Not sure whether your plan covers it? Ask your plan manager or support coordinator, or check your eligibility and we’ll help.

Frequently asked questions
All our meals can be claimed under the NDIS by approved participants.
On average, a meal costs you about $4.50 once the preparation and delivery portion is claimed.
1 - If you are NDIS self managed, you will pay upfront for the full price shown on the website. Before you place your first order, you will need to fill in the form above so your account is set up to receive a split invoice.
Along with your order confirmation, you will receive an NDIS invoice to claim the preparation and delivery cost portion. This is usually 70% of the total cost of the order, meaning that after being reimbursed, you will have paid just 30% of the total.
2 - If you are NDIS plan managed, you will need to fill in the form above to sign an agreement and a quote. We will reach out to your plan manager to confirm all the details before you can start ordering and only paying the upfront co-payment of 30%.
3 - If you are NDIA managed, you will need to fill in the specific form above to get started. We will then contact you for the next steps.
To be eligible for home delivered meals through the NDIS, your plan will usually need to include funding for Daily Activities under Core Supports, or a specific support item for meal preparation and delivery, being 01_023_0120_1_1.
From 1 March 2022, the NDIA no longer requires a quote for this support item. This gives participants more flexibility to use their Core funding for prepared meal services, including as an alternative to having a support worker assist with shopping and meal preparation.
This item does not need to be a stated support and can be used where it has been considered a reasonable and necessary support within the participant’s plan and there is enough Core funding available.
The older item, 01_022_0120_1_1, may still apply in some cases where it is specifically included in the participant’s plan and remains subject to quote requirements.
If you are unsure, check with your plan manager or your NDIS support coordinator as we will need confirmation of your eligibility before we can onboard you.
